PDF instant download axolotl knitting pattern,
The axolotl (say ACK-suh-LAH-tuhl) is a charming amphibian that’s usually pink (though sometimes black) and always has a cheery grin. Axolotls are experts at regeneration and can regrow limbs, organs, and bones!
Opossums are an often misunderstood species. It may have something to do with their rat-like tails and long maws full of needle teeth, but in truth they are gentle creatures who are here to live and let live. They are North America’s only marsupial, eat ticks as snacks, and have a low body temperature that prevents rabies. Once their babies are big enough to leave the pouch, a mama opossum will carry her brood around on her back. The result looks like the Cat Bus from Totoro at rush hour. Any opossum pattern would be incomplete with the option to add one or a dozen babies. Make as many as your heart desires!
Years ago my friends’ toddler drew a blue bird for me. Circles and triangles and still clearly a bird; I loved its simple shapes and goofy mouth placement. I thought it would be a perfect knitting pattern -- a little birb inspired by a little person. It’s just the right size to fit in the palm of a small hand. Designed with fingering weight yarn, Birby Baby Bird uses the scraps from your socks or sweaters. They’re an easy and addicting stash buster -- you’ll have a whole flock before you know it!

Clancy, Jr the shark is a cuddly undersea companion! Instant digital pattern download. PDF format.
Horse, unicorn, pegasus combination knitting pattern!
Unicorns are found in the folklore of countries around the world, from ancient Mesopotamia and Greece, to India and China. Unicorns are a symbol of purity, and their horns were believed to cure poisons. In the middle ages, cups made out of “unicorn” horns (but actually rhinoceros horn or narwhal tusk) were a hot commodity, as they were believed to protect the drinker from poisons. A winged unicorn is sometimes called an Alicorn or Pegacorn, and is traditionally a symbol of light (while a winged bull is a symbol of destruction). Rainbows are products of sunlight, so that must be why Isadora has so many beautiful colors!

PDF instant download knitting pattern of a walrus. Majestic beast of the sea!
Floyd and Elena are mini tapirs about 6 inches/15 cm long. Heywood, my other tapir, is about 10 inches/25 cm long. They are just right to pair with Heywood as baby-sized companions.
Elephants live in matriarchal groups called herds or sometimes parades. Peanut Butter (Peanut for short) hopes that she can be a great leader like her mom when she grows up. Contrary to her name, Peanut’s favorite snack is actually watermelon. You can make fast friends with her if you’re willing to share. But be warned -- she might get carried away and eat it all!
Peanut Butter is a huggable 12 inches/31 cm long and 9 inches/23 cm tall. Her body is worked as two flat pieces that are sewn together, while her head and limbs are worked in the round. This is a straightforward pattern great for those new to making toys who are looking to try something bigger. And of course, she’s a great pattern for experienced knitters too!
When you think of the Loch Ness monster, you’re probably picturing a grainy photograph from the 1930s featuring a big back and spindly neck emerging from the water. But the first
recorded sighting of the monster is actually from 564 CE, recorded in the writings of St. Columbia. The photo from 1934 has led many to speculate that this water-faring cryptid may
actually be a plesiosaurus, a kind of aquatic dinosaur that (supposedly) went extinct some 65 million years ago. Is Lernie trapped outside of time, the last in the line of an otherwise extinct species? Are they a single creature or does Lernie have a family? (What about Nessie, after all?) I’ve asked, but Lernie won’t tell me. Perhaps you’ll have better luck.
Heywood is a Malayan tapir, always classy in his black and white formal wear! Instant digital pattern download.
The Slipper Monster lives in your home and wants to be your friend. He’s very shy -- too shy to introduce himself to you. So sometimes he does things to help you out because he’s hoping you will notice and say hello. He likes to do little things like bringing you your slippers or folding your socks or keeping track of your spare change for you. He means well, but the thing about the Slipper Monster is that he’s very small, so these little tasks are Herculean efforts for him. Going up the stairs to find your slippers is like scaling Mount Everest. It’s going to take him a few days to get there and back! And he can only carry one slipper at a time! If you’ve ever thought you lost a sock or slipper or pen, it probably isn’t lost at all. It’s just in transit, courtesy of your resident Slipper Monster.
This pattern bundle contains both Heywood, the large tapir, and Floyd and Elena, the tapir minis. More tapirs always means more fun!
